Position Overview
Are you passionate about transforming ideas into stunning visuals? AE2S is seeking a creative, independent, and innovative Video/Graphic Design Intern to work within the Marketing Communications team. In this role, you’ll craft compelling visual narratives and contribute to both internal and external projects, allowing your creativity to shine.
Responsibilities
- Assist in a range of design activities, including the creation of graphic designs, layouts, and associated visual elements for print and online media.
- Participate in videography and video production, including recording, editing, and producing high-quality media.
- Collaborate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh, creative ideas.
- Ensure each design aligns with the brand image and effectively communicates the desired message.
- Stay up to date with design trends and utilize core skills in practice.
Basic Requirements
- Final year/postgraduate student pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong skills in design and video creation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple tasks, stay organized, and perform well under pressure.
- Flexibility, a positive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Completion of all pre-employment onboarding requirements, such as:
- Criminal and civil background checks.
- Drug screening.
- Motor vehicle records search (where applicable).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an Architectural/Engineering/Construction (AEC) firm.
- Proven expertise in videography and video production.
- Hands-on graphic design experience.
- Skills in photography and photo editing.
Compensation
- Hourly Wage: $21.00/hour (Dependent on Education and Experience).
Pay is based on experience, skill, and ability. This position will remain open until filled.
